Privacy Policy

Cassino X (package com.mtsgames.cassinox) · Effective 27 September 2026

The short version. You play with a name and a password that live only on your device — there is no email, no phone number and no sign-in. Your name, wins and badge are written to Google Firebase so other players can see them on the leaderboard, and we show ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID. We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos, files, microphone or camera, and we never sell your data.

1. Who we are

Cassino X is developed and published by Mts games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how you can get rid of it. It applies to the Cassino X Android app and this website. It replaces an earlier version that described a completely offline game with nothing collected — that is not what the app does today.

2. Your account is a name and a password, on your device

When you set the app up you choose a name and a password. That is the whole account. There is no email address, no phone number, no sign-in with Google, no verification and no password recovery — nothing exists that could restore the account on a new phone. The password is stored as a salted hash, and the password, its hash and its salt never leave your device.

3. What stays on your device

Your name, avatar, level, badge, wins, coins, unlocked cosmetics, daily challenge and settings are saved in a file on your own phone. Playing 2–4 players on one phone happens entirely on the device; nothing leaves the phone.

4. What goes to Google Firebase — and who can see it

The app uses Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, with anonymous sign-in). It writes one player record to the players collection in Firestore, tied to an anonymous per-install id. That record holds your chosen name, your wins, your badge / level, your leaderboard position and a referral count.

Your name and your score appear on the in-app leaderboard, where other players can see them. If you do not want your name shown to other players, do not use a name you would not want to be public.

5. The anonymous per-install id

On first run the app generates a random id and keeps it on the device. It ties your own progress together and links it to your Firestore record. It is not your name, not your email and not your phone number, and it is not hardware fingerprinting — it is a random number the app makes up. It is also sent to the game's own server with the anonymous events in section 6.

6. Ads (Google AdMob)

Cassino X shows ads through Google AdMob. Today that is a rewarded ad you choose to watch in exchange for virtual coins, and more ad formats are being added. To serve ads, Google may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and information about ad interactions, under Google's own Privacy Policy.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android:

Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete / reset advertising ID

We do not receive your name or email from AdMob.

7. Anonymous gameplay events

The app sends anonymous events to a server we run ourselves — for example "a match finished", the rival level, whether it was won, and the score. Each event carries the anonymous per-install id, not your name, email or phone number. We use this only to see which parts of the game are confusing or broken so we can fix them.

8. Approximate city from your IP address — NOT IMPLEMENTED YET

This is not collected today. Nothing in the app and nothing on our server reads your IP address to work out a city. It is a possible future addition: if it ships, the server (not the app) would derive an approximate city from the connecting IP address, store it next to the anonymous install id, and use it only for anonymous growth analytics.

That city would be approximate — ISP and VPN routing put people in the wrong place — and would never be shown as a player's location. This policy will be updated before it ships.

9. What we never collect

The Android build requests: internet; network and Wi-Fi state; vibration; wake-lock; the advertising ID permission (AD_ID, used by AdMob); and READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE. The app does not ask for, read or store your phone number, and it does not make calls or send SMS.

10. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

11. Where your data is stored

Our providers' servers are outside South Africa. Using the app means your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries, which the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) allows where the provider is bound to protect it. Google applies its own contractual protections to data it holds for us.

12. Deleting your data

There is no delete button in the app yet, and the app cannot delete your Firestore record for you — the Firestore rules refuse a delete from the app.

On your device: uninstall the app, or clear its storage. That removes everything saved on your phone (name, password lock, progress, coins).

Your leaderboard record: email Nkosimtshali1717@gmail.com and ask us to delete your Cassino X player record. It is removed by hand; there is no automatic tool for this yet.

13. Your rights (POPIA)

Under South African law you may ask us to:

Contact us at the address above and we will respond within a reasonable time.

14. Children

Cassino X is not directed at children. It shows ads to all players, and the leaderboard shows player names and scores to other players. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. Not a gambling app

Cassino X uses virtual coins with no monetary value. Nothing in the app can be wagered or exchanged for real money, and no real-money prizes are offered.

16. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and change the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
